Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a narrowing or blockage in the arteries of the legs. Most people who have PAD do not have symptoms. However, some people feel fatigue, pain, cramping, aching or numbness in their thighs, calves or buttocks. These problems usually occur when walking more than a block, walking quickly or climbing stairs.
Fairview therapists will work with you to develop an exercise program to reduce your PAD symptoms and the risk of future blockages. Visit us for an initial evaluation and to learn more about our program.
