St Paul Midway YMCA, 761 University Ave W, St Paul, MN 55104Throughout this fully interactive and hands-on series, we will build a platform of kitchen skills, from classic cooking techniques to knife skills to effective meal planning principals. Each of the three sessions will be focused on one of the three main components of a meal. This is a non-judgmental place where everyone is at home no matter what your skill level.
Session One: Focus will be on both plant and animal protein cookery, from best cooking technique to safe minimal cooking temperatures.
Session Two: It’s all about the incredible power and flavor of vegetables, as well as how to properly cook them.
Session Three: Smart carbs will be the topic. Good carbs, bad carbs, proper portion, and cookery.
