Physical therapists evaluate and treat infants and children to improve:

• mobility and motor skills, including those needed to roll, crawl, sit or walk.
• motor development
• posture
• strength
• range of motion
• balance and coordination

Pediatric physical therapitst work with other rehabilitation therapists and the rehab team to select or modify seating systems, wheelchairs, walkers and car seats, and to provide recommendations and training for parents and children.
