Jen Encinger, MSW, LICSW. Jen is a counsleor with the Employee Assistance Program, serving the central Metro, Lakes, and Northland care systems. Jen frequently presents on workplace and mental health topics.
Course Description:
This workshops help participants understand the impact of personal and professional change on themselves and those around them. Participants will assess their readiness for change and will develop strategies for managing related stress.

Course Objectives:
Define change
Explore human responses to change
Identify one strategy to cope with responses to change
Learn two ways to reduce the impact of stress in daily life
Course Agenda:
6:00-6:15pm- Introductions and Check-in
6:15-6:40pm- Define Change, List participant changes and their impact, Identify the stages of change
6:40-7:10pm- Participants complete change assessment, Group discussion about assessment
7:10-7:30pm- Stress management strategies, Learn re-frame strategy
7:30-7:50pm- Participants complete personal "reframe" exercise, Participants make behavioral commitment
7:50-8:00pm- Questions, Close and Evaluations
