Uncommonly good care for common problems
We know the profound impact of ear, nose and throat (ENT) problems. That’s why Fairview ENT experts, called otolaryngologists, are dedicated to improving the lives of people who have issues with their ears, nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), mouth and throat.
Did you know that more than 75 percent of children will have at least one ear infection before they’re three years old? Are you experiencing an ENT problem, such as ear wax buildup, tonsillitis, mouth sores and allergies? Most people do at some point in their lives.
Even though we treat thousands of common ENT issues each year, we understand your problem may be new to you. We’ll take the time to learn from you about your symptoms. Then, we’ll teach you about your condition. After making sure you understand your treatment options, we’ll develop a treatment plan that fits your life.
The latest and greatest for more complicated problems
Our close relationship with University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, allows us to provide leading-edge treatments and care for even the most complex and rare ENT problems.
For example, if you need surgery, Fairview has nine hospitals conveniently located throughout the Twin Cities. Our otolaryngologists perform both common and complex surgeries. These include bone-anchored hearing aids, cleft lip and/or palate repair, reconstructive surgery and bilateral cochlear implants. Working with the most advanced sinus surgical instruments and techniques, they offer solutions that, even as little as 10 years ago, were unknown.
On-site hearing services
Fairview also provides the best in audiology and hearing-rehabilitation options. Audiologists use technology to diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders. Audiologists also work to reverse hearing loss. If you need a hearing aid, we have on-site hearing-aid fittings and sales. Our audiologists do not work on sales commissions, and will find the right hearing aid for your hearing loss and budget. Learn more about our audiology and hearing-aid services.
