Because of this, our care team includes hospitalists who help make sure that patient and family needs are met around the clock. A hospitalist is a doctor who cares for patients in the hospital. They have more experience in caring for complex medical problems.
Hospitalist's special training helps them to find and figure out unusual illnesses, anticipate problems and respond quickly to crisis or changes in a patient’s medical problem.
When a patient goes home from the hospital, his or her regular doctor will again provide care and answer questions.
