Hearing care for all ages
If you have decreased hearing, ringing in the ears or a felling of ear fullness, your provider may order a hearing test by an audiologist. A complete diagnostic hearing test can show if you need to: monitor your hearing, a hearing aide, another assertive device medical treatment or surgery.
Our audiologists have experience in caring for infants and children. We use age-appropriate testing methods to determine your child's hearing health. We provide additional testing for infants who do not pass the hospital hearing screening. If your baby doesn’t pass the testing or if he/she has additional risk factors for hearing loss, we will refer you for additional testing at the Lions Children’s Hearing and ENT clinic. The Lions clinic is located on the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital campus in Minneapolis.
