Richard J. Howard is the President of the Fairview Foundation and Vice President of Business Development for Fairview Health Services.  He received a Masters in Public Health Administration in 1979 from the University of Minnesota.  Dick joined Fairview in the Planning Department in 1979.  He has held multiple positions at Fairview in strategic planning, marketing and business development, health care operations and services integration.  He is a member of several organizations, professional affiliations and community boards.  Dick lives in St. Louis Park with his wife, Chris, and their two sons, Nicholas and Jonathan. 

Dick has experience in health care operations, new business development, mergers and acquisitions, functional and clinical services integration and corporate-wide strategic planning.  He also enjoys mentoring others in life-career planning and guides groups on this topic.
