Fairview Clinic Community Care Program

The Clinic Community Care Program includes care given in Fairview's free-standing clinics. It does not cover care received in hospitals, which is covered under Fairview Hospital Community Care and Patient Discount Program.

Clinic Community Care is part of Fairview's mission to provide quality medical services to everyone in our community. We treat all patients with dignity and respect, regardless of their ability to pay.

Services Covered

Clinic Community Care covers charges for most of our services. However, it does not cover charges for:

  • care that is not medically necessary (e.g., experimental treatments or care considered unnecessary by a Fairview doctor).
  • care that we do not offer at Fairview
  • services given at Fairview by independent contractors
  • physician services not billed by Fairview
  • services given to people who do not live in Minnesota

Income Guidelines

If your documented income is at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you do not have access to health insurance and you have complied with the application process, you may qualify for the Clinic Community Care Program and receive a 100 percent discount on your bill. The annual maximum in discounts you may receive is $300 individually or $600 for a family.

Application Process, Questions

Our Community Care Coordinator in Patient Financial Services can go over income limits with you and help you begin the application process. Please contact them at 612-672-6426. Other health care providers may also have similar community or charity care programs. Please contact these providers directly about non-Fairview related services and bills.
