MINNEAPOLIS (November 14, 2006) --Fairview President and CEO David R. Page plans to retire October 2007. Page was recruited to Fairview in 1998 and led the process to integrate the University of Minnesota Hospital with the Fairview organization.
Given Page’s planned retirement, Fairview is conducting a search for a new system President and Chief Executive Officer. The board of directors is seeking a leader who can build on the current reputation for delivering high quality, integrated services as they increase market share in Minnesota’s competitive health care industry. The CEO will be the principal strategic and operational leader responsible for driving Fairview’s vision to be the best healthcare delivery system in the country.
This position will champion Fairview’s continued emphasis on standardization to achieve not only the quality and safety goals but also to increase operational efficiency in providing a consistent point-of-service patient philosophy. The CEO must ensure that resources and support for change initiatives are secure, including a robust plan for information technology and systems.
