Fairview Health Services is growing along with Maple Grove.  Fairview Bass Lake Clinic opened at 6320 Wedgwood Rd. N. and began seeing patients on October 31.

The clinic opened with two physicians: Jay Dirks, MD who specializes in family medicine, and Yeng Yang, MD, who specializes in pediatrics and internal medicine.

Our new clinic is a "green" building.  Special construction techniques and materials have been used to create an environmentally healthy building for our patients and staff.  We have applied for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for this building.  Currently, only 3 LEED green certified projects in Minnesota qualify for this distinction; and only 3,261 qualify nation-wide.

Conveniently located just off I-494 and Bass Lake Rd., this clinic is the first of three health care facilities that Fairview will be opening in the Northwest metro in the coming months.   Another clinic will open in Rogers in early 2007, and Fairview is partnering with University of Minnesota Physicians to bring world-class specialty care to the community at its multi-specialty facility currently under construction on Fernbrook Lane just across from the Maple Grove High School.  This facility will open in July of next year, offering exceptional care to Maple Grove and the surrounding communities.
