MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (February 2, 2006) -- The board of directors of Fairview Health Services has elected a new chair.

Jon R. Campbell, who replaces Rodney Burwell as board chair, was elected for a three-year term.  Mr. Campbell is chief executive officer and executive vice president of Wells Fargo bank. He has worked for Wells Fargo and its predecessors since 1977.  He was elected to Fairview’s board in 2001. Mr. Campbell is a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Rodney Burwell, outgoing chair, was re-elected to the board for a three-year term as an at-large director.
